Setting Up for Experimental Success: Exploring the Importance of Pilot Studies

Supplemental Enrichment and Amplification (SEA) Kit

Compatible Custom Applications:
  • Supplemental amplification of bead-bound DNA templates
  • Enrichment of synthetic nucleotide tags (SNTs) that were introduced to label select targets in a sample
  • Enrichment of guide RNA tags that were introduced to modify cellular responses in select targets in a sample

Overview

Fluent BioSciences has enhanced the PIPseq 3’ Single Cell RNA product line with the Supplemental Enrichment and Amplification (SEA) Kit that enables a diversity of custom applications using the PIPseq platform. PIPseq is unique among scRNA-Seq technologies in that the cDNA generated during reverse transcription remains bound to the Fluent hydrogel beads (bead-bound DNA templates) such that they can be reused in subsequent reactions after initial generation of the whole transcriptome.

The SEA Kit provides the reagents necessary for these supplemental amplifications. In addition, the SEA kit enables enrichment of selected molecules in the cDNA pool, including but not limited to, synthetic nucleotide tags (SNT), which the user introduces to label or modify select targets in a sample.
